Fuller Research Foundation
The Fuller Research Foundation, R. Buckminster Fuller's own office, whose surviving c. 1956 inventory of reprints and overruns records how carefully he tracked what was written about him.
The corpus holds the Foundation's inventory of reprints and overruns, compiled around the middle of 1956: a typed bibliography of published items about Fuller, Dymaxion, geodesic structures, and synergetic geometry, running 40 items across an A series and a B series and covering press coverage from 1932 to 1956.
The document survives as a six-page typed scan, transcribed in full and held in the repository at fuller_research_foundation_inventory/. It is a primary source about Fuller's own operations rather than about a Fuller design — a ledger of the reception he was accumulating and keeping in stock.
Role in Fuller's world
The Fuller Research Foundation is the administrative Fuller: the office that filed, reprinted, and inventoried his public record. Its ledger is a companion to the Dymaxion Chronofile — where the Chronofile preserved his life, the Foundation's inventory preserved and distributed the press that life generated.
