Doubleday
Doubleday, which in 1972 turned Fuller's spoken voice into a picture book.
Doubleday published Buckminster Fuller to Children of Earth in 1972, pairing Fuller's spoken words with full-page photographs by Cam Smith (©1972). The book was edited by Tom Solari. Its sections on pattern integrity and geometry are drawn from Robert Snyder's film Buckminster Fuller on Spaceship Earth, used by permission — so the text is transcribed speech rather than written prose.

Role in Fuller's world
Doubleday's contribution is a format rather than a catalogue. Children of Earth is the corpus's clearest case of Fuller being published as a speaker — the book's method is to photograph the world he was describing and let the transcribed lecture carry the argument, which is how most people actually encountered him.
